The Society supports the preservation and running of the Watercress Line, which runs between Alton and Arlesford in Hampshire. We are one of several regional groups which support various projects on the railway.
We meet regularly at the Community Centre, usually on the third Thursday of each month (except July and August). There are illustrated talks, with guest speakers, on a variety of transport topics - not exclusively railways.
There is no formal membership for these evenings - all are welcome. We make a small charge, simply to cover the costs of the meetings.
