Our purpose is twofold. We aim, in the first place, to support the Community Centre Association in a variety of ways – by volunteering to help with the running of the Centre, through its volunteer management and in areas such as the Cafe and the gardens; and through various fundraising efforts. But at the same time, we exist as a friendly social group in our own right, with a range of activities for individual members, including:

• monthly meetings at the Centre (the third Wednesday of each month, except August and December) – at which there is usually a guest speaker, a raffle and tea and biscuits
