Barn Theatre - technical information
Here you can find some documents and diagrams which describe the layout of the theatre, its facilities and equipment. Useful information for anyone interested in using the Barn as a performance venue.

Seating plans
The theatre has a normal capacity of 152 seats, of which 92 are on a bank of raked retractable seating. A number of seating formats can be used. Please click on the links below to open the standard plan and the examples of some alternative layouts.

The Barn is equipped with an audio induction hearing loop. Please click here for further information.

Lighting and sound
The Barn has a full range of theatre lighting equipment, along with a very good sound set-up for theatre use.
Lighting and sound operation is normally carried out from our separate control room at the top rear of the auditorium.
